Orphans Drive

One day to serve the fatherless.

At the beginning of the pandemic, there were many kids who were starting to go hungry with the world in shutdown. Local church leaders in Mafikeng, South Africa started feeding the children and Joshua Nations staff member Villy Bohmer and his father Papa Bohmer got involved to help provide food and resources for the children. As time went on, more children came, infants were dropped off at the feeding area in the night, and even some children who were being put into prostitution by their parents to raise money for food were rescued and fed. This was not planned to be an orphanage, safe house or even genuinely a long-term project – but there was a need and the believers stepped up to help.

Now it's our turn to help.

Joshua Nations has received plans for construction for the property. We will be building a structure that contains a working kitchen, a full restroom and an eating hall. This will be used to shield the orphans from the sun and the rain – as well as provide a place for a church to meet and a Joshua Nations school to take place. Additionally, the plans include a well to provide instant access to clean water.

Please prayerfully consider giving to this project – we are needing to raise $6,000 to complete construction on everything.
